The driving area
Examiners apply the same standard at every centre. What changes is the road environment — and that determines what is worth practising.
The roads around the centre carry real commuter volume. Lane selection has to happen early, and a late decision is visible to the examiner immediately.
Signals come up quickly one after another, which punishes drivers who accelerate hard and then brake late. Smooth, anticipatory speed control matters more here than raw confidence.
Vehicles pulling in and out of plazas mean the hazard picture changes constantly. Mirror discipline and following distance are under continuous assessment.
The manoeuvre portion typically moves onto quieter residential streets, where parked cars and driveways make parallel parking and three-point turns realistic rather than theoretical.
