What the program covers

The same teaching underpins every package — the packages differ only in what road test service is attached.

About your in-car lessons

The lesson count shown for each package is the total you receive — 10 lessons means 10, and 12 means 12. All in-car lessons are one-on-one in a dual-control training vehicle, a full hour each, with pickup and drop-off.

Why an approved course matters

Eligible students may take their G2 road test after 8 months instead of 12 after completing an approved BDE course. Insurance savings may also be available depending on the insurer.

Common questions

  • Do I need my G1 before I start?

    You need a valid G1 before any in-car instruction can begin. You can start the online portion while you are studying for the knowledge test — talk to us about timing and we will sequence it sensibly.

  • How long does the whole course take?

    It depends on how often you can get in the car and how quickly the skills settle. Some students finish in a few intensive weeks; others spread it across a school term. We build the schedule around you rather than a fixed cohort.

  • Do you pick up from home or school?

    Yes. In-car lessons start and end wherever suits — home, school or work — anywhere in our Durham Region service area.

  • What does the course cost?

    Pricing depends on the lesson package you choose. Send us a message and we will quote you directly, with no obligation.

  • What does completing an approved BDE course change?

    In Ontario, completing an approved Beginner Driver Education course can shorten the wait before your G2 road test, and many insurers recognise the certificate. Confirm the current wait-time rule with DriveTest and the discount directly with your insurer, as both change.
